Backstory:
Sir Cord adventured with Tyrael for 100 years, before getting split up from him in a battle in Uraq. Sir Cord headed north back to Tarsis.
In Tarsis, Sir Cord assisted in The Holy Emperor's retreat from the city due to a barbarian invasion. He has served the Lothian Church in Ptolus since then.
He now adventures in the Banewarrens for the Church, and plans on retiring afterwards.
